We will pick you up at the airport in Berlin. Then after settling into your room at the hotel, the day will be set aside for you to relax after your transatlantic flight. There will be an optional 2.5 hour walking tour of Berlin at 11:00 am or 2:00 pm. Depending on the walking tour; meet at the hotel lobby to discuss your vacation. In the evening you will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and then you will have free time to shop the streets of Berlin or just relax.

After breakfast, you will travel approximately 2 hours to the city of Wolfsburg. The Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg prides itself in being the largest auto plant in the world. Here you will have 3 separate tours, the Factory Tour, Discovery Tour and the Car Tower.

The Autostadt offers tours in the factory, a huge car museum and seven pavilions dedicated to the various VW cars. A barge, moored at the pier in front of the Autostadt Group Forum, will ferry you across the canal to the factory. Then a panorama train will take you right into the heart of automobile production where you will be able to see how Volkswagen cars are made. This will be approximately an hour long and will give you a direct insight into the different production steps.

The seven pavilions dedicated to car manufacturers are Audi, Lamborghini, Porsche, SEAT, Skoda, and a Premium Clubhouse, formerly known as the Bentley and two pavilions for Volkswagen.

Here will be free time for you to walk through the different pavilions at your own pace. There are two 60 meters (200 feet) tall glass silos called the Auto Türme which is used as storage for new Volkswagens. The two towers are connected to the Volkswagen factory by a 700-meter underground tunnel. When cars arrive at the towers they are carried up at a speed of 1.5 meters per second. You will have the thrill to ride in a glass cabin to the top of the tower to the observation deck on the 20th floor for a panoramic view over the city of Wolfsburg and the Autostadt. After the tours, you will travel approximately 5 hours to the city of Stuttgart. You will have free alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with snacks while on the road with several short breaks along the route. You will check into your hotel and enjoy a dinner later in the evening.

You will be staying two days in Stuttgart for the Mercedes and Porsche factories and museums.

The first day will be a tour at the Mercedes Plant which includes the Mercedes Factory Tour and the Mercedes Museum Tour. While at the Factory Tour, experience the fascinating world of the Mercedes-Benz automobile and the 125-year history of the automobile. At the museum, experience over 160 vehicle exhibits and numerous special exhibition pieces and gain an overview of the history of the motor car. The chronological tour through the Legend halls takes you on a journey through time, from the dawn of automotive history in 1886 right through to the present day. In addition, you will also travel through a series of theme-based collections spanning various eras, housed in five different Collection halls.

 Take breakfast, you will enjoy several tours at the Porsche factory where the 911, 918, Boxster and Cayman are produced.

You will view the logistics are where all the parts are sent down the assembly line. You will walk through the factory, just feet away from the production line where you will see the engine assembly line, the upholstery area, and the final assembly line.

Next will be the Porsche Museum Tour, with more than 80 vehicles and many small exhibits will be on display in a unique ambiance. In addition to world-famous, iconic vehicles such as the 356, 550, 911, and 917, the exhibits include some of the outstanding technical achievements of Professor Ferdinand Porsche from the early 20th century. Here you can choose whether to start with the company history before 1948 or head directly into the main area of the exhibition which represents Porsche’s product and motorsport history in chronological order. Both areas are interlinked by the “Porsche Idea” section, which forms the backbone of the exhibition.

After breakfast in Stuttgart, you will travel approximately 2.5 hours to the city of Ingolstadt.

Your first tour will be the Audi Factory Tour, experience the entire production process of an Audi up close and personal. You will find out interesting facts about all European Audi locations as well as the main plant in Ingolstadt. In the press shop you will feel the pressure produced by the metal-forming tools; in the body shop, you can watch the fascinating ballet performed by welding robots. Learn about bonding technology and witness a “marriage”, when the powertrain and body are joined together during final assembly.

Next, you will tour the Audi Museum, take a journey through time and visit the century of mobility. The one-hour tour of the museum will acquaint you with the most important facts and vehicles in the Audi Company’s 20th-century history. On this entertaining and informative tour, you’ll learn more about the history of the four rings, divided into the pre-war and post-war eras. After the tours, you will travel approximately 1 hour to Munich. You will check into your hotel and will enjoy a dinner later in the evening.

After breakfast, you will take an auto factory tour at the BMW Plant in Munich. You will be part of the Premium Tour and experience the whole world of BMW, with highlights from the BMW Museum, the BMW Plant, and the BMW Welt.

The first stop of the BMW Premium Tour is the BMW Museum. Here you are treated to a fascinating and innovative presentation of the BMW company, brand and product history. Discover 125 valuable exhibits spanning over 90 years of BMW history.

Next, at the BMW Plant, you can watch how passion and precision come together in the manufacture of each individual vehicle. Follow the manufacturing process of a BMW car, from the body shop to the paint shop.

Your tour ends with a walkabout through BMW Welt. Get insights of the building’s unusual architecture and the sophisticated vehicle collection area where cars are delivered to customers from all over the world.

Later in the evening, you will enjoy a farewell dinner at the world-famous Hofbräuhaus and the rest of the evening will be yours to relax or enjoy a drink at one of the many bars in the area.

After breakfast, you will take a 2.5 hour walking tour through the historical city of Munich.

With your experience guide, you will see top landmarks and discover the stories behind great sights such as the New and Old Town Hall, the Glockenspiel, Frauenkirche Church, Church of St. Peter and the Royal Residence, Viktualienmarkt (famous outdoor market), and the National Theater, to name a few.

You will learn the real origins of Oktoberfest and the history of beer gardens of Germany.

After a day of touring the city, you will have a farewell dinner at the world famous Hofbräuhaus.

Then, after dinner will be your free time to relax or go out for drinks at one of the local German pubs.

After breakfast, we will be happy to take you to the airport for your departure back home.
